Quality Certifications & Awards
The Governing Council has set standards conforming to the EU laws and regulations for businesses. Based on this, the Council has approved the standards to be met by enterprises that wish to be certified as "Certified Quality Enterprise"
The Council also has approved three Annual Awards for Excellence in Business. Each year the members each nominate an enterprise to be awarded and the Council after examining all nominations decides on the nominations that best meet the criteria set by the EEIG.
EEIG Awards
Annual Enterprise Award
The annual Enterprise award is awarded to the enterprise that meets most criteria for this class of award.
Emerging Enterprise Award
The annual Emerging Enterprise award is awarded to an enterprise based in an emerging country that meets most criteria for this class of award.
All Africa Business Award
The All Africa Business Enterprise award is awarded to an enterprise based in Africa that meets most criteria for this class of award.
Certified
Quality Enterprise CQE
The aims of the Certified Quality Enterprise certification is to encourage all Enterprises and Businesses to achieve specific standards based on those set by the EEIG in conformance to EU set principles and standards of Corporate behavior and governance. The certification takes into account how the enterprise is run and managed and the satisfaction of the stakeholders demands.
The certification process encourages the enterprise and business to achieve confidence and excellence in their products and services and satisfy the end user; it reinforces professionalism and conformity to set rules as regards issues of staffing, health, legal, environmental, competition and market issues.
