ABOUT US
Researching ... Integration - Governance - Ethics - The Green Revolution

CMU Research Institute was established in 2006 by a number of academics and researchers keen to discuss the effects of globalization.
CMU Research Institute is registered as a limited by guarantee company in the UK and is managed by Kitium Education in Larnaca, Cyprus. It is dedicated to the promotion of research and learning about the myriad dimensions of global and regional integration, business, technology and environmental issues in a gloabalised world.
In pursuit of this goal the CMU Research Institute brings together a worldwide network of researchers who are linked to its research programmes. The Institute operates its research in conjunction with a number of universities worldwide.
The Institute operates programmes for doctoral and post doctoral researchers, promotes collaboration with other research institutes and universities, publishes its annual journal the CMU Research Journal and the quarterly Business Develoment & Governance Review.
Biannually, we hold Research Symposiums and we organise numerous seminars and conferences on related subjects.
- Its first project, is related to the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs – Moscow embracement of the effects of globalization on the Dialogue of Civilizations. The results and research from this project will be available to view on this website.
- In most cases contemporary societies either in the developed countries of the West or in the developing ones of the Third World, seem to be suffering from certain structural inefficiencies as is the case of unemployment. The inevitable symptoms of dissatisfaction among the people range from mere psychological-though not insignificant- impacts to fundamental needs of nutrition and health. To make things worse, the majority of the people on our technologically over-advanced planet suffer from “operational incompatibility”: as a rule we do not practice our talents! - BUT SHOULD THAT BE THE CASE? - Proposed research by Efthymis Stingas
